The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) launched its car subscription program Maruti Subscribe back in July 2020. With this new VFM service, the company aimed to offer customers a chance to experience a multitude of Maruti vehicles at attractive monthly subscription charges. And after providing this service in 20 cities across the country, the company has now expanded it to five more cities in the nation. According to MSIL, the Maruti Subscribe program will now be available in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Nagpur and Vishakhapatnam as well.
Commenting on the announcement of the Maruti Subscribe programs expansion in five new cities, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said,“Since its introduction two years ago, the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe program has garnered tremendous response from customers. The Subscribe program is well suited for today’s asset-light generation who prefer flexible buying decisions. I am therefore excited to announce the latest expansion of Maruti Suzuki Subscribe to 5 new cities. This takes the total coverage of our Subscribe program to 25 cities. Through new partnerships and city expansions, we look forward to serving our customers with more ease and convenience.”
Maruti Suzuki announced that the subscription programme in the new cities will be facilitated by its subscription partners Orix, ALD Automotive, Quiklyz by Mahindra Finance and Myles. Through one or more of its subscription partners, the scheme will provide white plate subscriptions for the whole Maruti Suzuki line of automobiles. The length of a subscription could range between 12 to 48 months depending upon what the customers demand.

Customers may take advantage of automobile ownership through the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe programme without actually purchasing a car. With this amazing service customers can select from a variety of tenure choices and Maruti Suzuki vehicle models, all at a flat, all-inclusive monthly rental price. The cost of the car, registration fees, maintenance and repairs, insurance (new and renewal), and roadside assistance are all included in the monthly rental. After the term is complete, the consumer can choose to upgrade to a new automobile or take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the subscription vehicle back. Customers have the ability to cancel their subscriptions at any time throughout the term of service.
Maruti Suzuki Subscribe Marketplace platform was launched in July 2020, and according to the company since then it has been well received by the customers of the brand across the country with demand rising every year. Customers under the program may choose from a variety of automobiles from Maruti Suzuki, with financing choices from 12 to 48 months and yearly mileage options from 10,000 to 25,000 km. The company also offers its customers to have the additional choice of white or black registration plates.
Apart from the newly added, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Nagpur and Vishakhapatnam, the company offers its program in 20 other cities. The list of which includes Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore, Mysore, Kochi, and Kolkata.
